Love Is All Release New "Swedish" Covers EP

BY Brock ThiessenPublished Apr 9, 2009

Love Is All have followed up their A Hundred Things Keep Me Up at Night with a new covers EP, which finds the scrappy Swedes taking on "some of our favorite Swedish classics." The five-track effort includes cuts by Bob Hund, Thomas Di Leva, Philemon Arthur and the Dung, Magnus Uggla, and Tant Strul, which, as Gorilla Vs. Bear points out, is the all-girl '80s punk band that featured Lykke Li's mom.

However, the downside to this new EP is that there are only going to be 200 of them and they're only going to be sold at the band's upcoming European tour. But while the chances of scoring a copy are slim for North Americans, the band have posted all the tracks on their MySpace page. Also, in a new blog post, front-woman Josephine Olausson says Love Is All are toying with the idea of doing another covers EP of "great American classics" and asking for suggestions on which tracks should get the "Love Is All mistreatment." Please, no "Free Bird."
