Loop Announce First North American Tour in over 20 Years, Play Toronto and Montreal

After having played their first UK shows in over 20 years, including a stop at ATP's "End of an Era" event in the fall, reunited shoegazers Loop have announced that they'll be taking things to the next level by heading out on a North American tour.

A press release for the South London combo confirms that they'll be heading overseas in the middle of April for their first North American tour in 24 years, kicking things off in Philadelphia. The trip will have the act playing headlining club dates mostly, but Loop will also stop by the Austin Psych Fest in May.

Though most of the concerts will be down in the U.S., there are Canadian shows scheduled at Montreal's La Sala Rossa on April 21 and the next night at Toronto's Wrongbar. You'll find all of the band's upcoming dates down below.

In the wake of the reunion announcement last spring, parts of Loop's back catalogue have been getting the reissue treatment, most recently with their third LP A Gilded Eternity getting repressed last December through Reactor.
