Published Apr 07, 2015The Grickle Grass Festival will be returning to London, ON, for its sixth instalment this summer, and the list of performers has just been announced.
The Elwins will be headlining the one-day event, with Esther Grey, So Young, Beth Prysnuk, Supernatural Buffalo, I Smell Blood, Gasoline Gathers Hands Gathers Friends, Petra Glynt and JFM all slated to perform, as well.
Featuring an all-Ontario lineup, festival director Savanah Sewell praised the local talent.
"It is astounding the talent that comes aboard to fill the Children's Museum every year," she said in a statement. "This year we have been able to bring in bands from surrounding areas like Toronto with Petra Glynt and JFM. But of course, we always use Grickle to showcase London's wealth of talent and are excited to see bands like So Young and I Smell Blood on Grickle Grass stages this year."
The event goes down on May 30 at the London Regional Children's Museum. There will be a series of kid-friendly daytime activities, followed by an evening of live music from the aforementioned acts.
Early bird tickets are available for $20 until April 17, when they'll jump to $25 in advanced or $30 at the door. Get all the details over at the festival's website.
UPDATE: The Acorn have been added to the lineup for the one-day event.
