Remember when Lizzo got big mad at that Postmates delivery woman for allegedly stealing her food? Well, now that same woman — Tiffany Wells — is suing Lizzo for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional stress.

Wells claims in a lawsuit obtained by TMZ that she has suffered emotional stress from the incident that occurred back in September — on a night she claims she did try to deliver Lizzo's food but was unable to reach her, forcing the delivery person to eventually abandon the food order.

On September 16, Lizzo tweeted "Hey @Postmates this girl Tiffany W. stole my food she lucky I don't fight no more" alongside a picture of the woman in question, causing an uproar on Twitter from the artist's massive fanbase.

Lizzo has since apologized (in a tweet, seen below), noting that her actions were inappropriate. But evidently it wasn't enough for Wells, who says she's received threats over the incident.

The lawsuit labels Lizzo's tweets as "false statements that are defamatory and are libelous." The suit adds, "Lizzo's conduct was extreme and outrageous in that she used her celebrity to publicly defame, disparage, and threaten a private individual (i.e. [Tiffany Wells]), to roughly one million Twitter followers."

Wells also claims to fear for her continued safety and suffers from stress and anxiety since the alleged doxxing occurred.

Lizzo has been the unfortunate subject of multiple legal disputes this year, namely over the rights to her songs "Juice" and "Truth Hurts."
