Liz Phair has unveiled a new song that will appear on an upcoming album that's due out in 2020.

"Good Side" was recorded with producer Brad Wood, who worked with Phair on her first three albums. Phair revealed that she wanted to reteam with Wood after celebrating the 25th anniversary of her debut album Exile in Guyville last year.

The forthcoming album will mark Phair's first since 2010's Funstyle.

In 2017, it was reported that Phair was working on new material with Ryan Adams, but the collaboration was scrapped. She told Vulture recently that she "wasn't willing to go along with his process." Adams was accused of emotional abuse and inappropriate conduct earlier this year.

Phair is also releasing a memoir titled Horror Stories. It's out today via Random House.
