It's been nearly two months since Liz Phair released her baffling under-the-radar album Funstyle, so if it was going to be a grower, it probably should have grown by now. Critical apathy be damned, Phair's setting out on a tour of North America, which provides another chance to hear songs from her classic 1993 debut Exile in Guyville and, well, those new songs.
For the brief tour, Phair will play three shows in California this October before heading north through Seattle and Portland. The short touring stint will end in Vancouver on October 15.
Funstyle, which Phair explains lost her "my management, my record deal and a lot of nights of sleep," is available now. Her forthcoming tour dates, as well as Funstyle's "Bollywood," are below.
