Little Simz has returned with plans for her follow-up to 2019's GREY Area, a 19-track new LP titled Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. The album is due to arrive on September 3 via Age 101.
The record will feature ccontributions from frequent collaborator Inflo, as well as Cleo Sol, Obongjayar and The Crown actress Emma Corrin. According to a press release, the songs on Sometimes will document "a new natural history in which moments of tenderness coexist with shocking violence."
The UK artist has also dropped the record's lead single "Introvert" and its cinematic music video from director Salomon Ligthelm. The album's six-minute opening track acts as a "visceral essay," examining the politics of fear and a society torn apart by violence.
