As recently reported in our Click Hear column, Toronto post-punk sensation Little Girls has inked a deal with Paper Bag Digital and today will release the new digital-only EP Tambourine.
To refresh your memory, Little Girls is the brainchild and solo project of multi-instrumentalist Josh McIntyre, also known as one half of Pirate/Rock. After recording a few tunes on his own, McIntyre posted the tracks on the internet under the Little Girls pseudonym in order to receive unbiased opinions, and now has found himself landing performances alongside the likes of Crystal Antlers and Slim Twig, as well as an opening slot for Japandroids.
Little Girls is set to release two more EPs by the end of the year and, for the live action, has enlisted Andrew Wilson on guitar, Joseph Roth on bass and Anthony Gerace on drums.
