One of Australia's biggest exports of loud, Parkway Drive, are set to release Deep Blue, the band's third album since their 2004 debut Killing with a Smile and perhaps their most inspired work to date. Working with producer Joe Barresi for the first time, Parkway Drive explore their trademark metallic hardcore sound, all the while keeping to the roots that got them to where they are now, and you can hear it for yourself all week at Exclaim.ca.

Deep Blue will be out on shelves June 29 via Epitaph, but is currently streaming here on Exclaim.ca.

Adapting to larger influences, including ska and classic punk rock, Parkway Drive have taken a different approach to songwriting, and it shows on Deep Blue. Mixing up their regular recording routine by opting to record with Baressi, instead of Killswitch Engage regular Adam Dutkiewicz, largely played a role in the new sound of Deep Blue, with Baressi encouraging the band to try new things and encouraging the chaos that ensued.

Signing to punk royalty label Epitaph and recording a song with Bad Religion guitarist and Epitaph head Brett Gurewitz, along with their involvement in the upcoming Vans Warped Tour, will definitely help in extending past their Aussie homeland. To see Parkway Drive in action north of the border, the Vans Warped Tour is stopping in Toronto on July 9, Montreal on July 10 and Calgary on August 5. You can see all Parkway Drive's dates here.

Deep Blue will be streaming on Exclaim.ca until July 5.
