Having shared his Embers EP back in February, Vancouver-based singer-songwriter Joshua Hyslop has returned with the record's full-length follow-up, titled Ash & Stone. The album — culled from previously released singles as well as all-new material — is out today, and you can listen to it in full here at Exclaim! courtesy of Nettwerk.
The 11-track folk-indie effort will be the focus of the artist's upcoming virtual Canadian tour with Canyon City. Beginning on September 22 at Victoria's Capital Ballroom, the artist will embark on a cross-country livestream tour, hitting Vancouver, Winnipeg and Toronto along the way.
"I'm so excited to have this record out into the world!" Hyslop wrote in a recent post. "It's unfortunate that I won't be able to physically come to where you are and play these songs for you just yet, but as soon as that's possible I'll be back on the road."
Hyslop's latest full-length record was 2018's Echos.
