Listen to Explosions in the Sky's Take Care, Take Care, Take Care Now on Exclaim.ca

In the long four years since their last album All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone, the work of Texas post-rock quartet Explosions in the Sky have been mostly heard among the heart-swelling teen drama on Friday Night Lights. While soundtracking a fictional football story surely has its benefits, Explosions in the Sky have brushed off their instruments once again to produce Take Care, Take Care, Take Care.

The album will be hitting stores on April 26 via Temporary Residence Ltd., but you can listen to the album all week here on Exclaim.ca.

As on their previous album, Explosions in the Sky teamed up with the Paper Chase member and accomplished producer John Congleton to help with the recording of Take Care at Sonic Ranch in El Paso, TX. Congleton aided with recording while the record was produced by the band themselves.

When they first announced Take Care, Take Care, Take Care, Explosions in the Sky said, "The music on it feels different than anything else we've done before and we're very excited for you to hear it."

While that's something you can decide for yourself, the group's trademark guitar interplay, busy drumming and awe-inspiring crescendoes remain thankfully in tact.

Listen for yourself: Take Care, Take Care, Take Care will be streaming on Exclaim.ca until April 25.
