Hamilton indie five-piece Capitol are set to deliver their debut album Dream Noise this Friday (October 25), but rather than make you wait, we've decided to give you the goods now.

Of the release, the band shared the following statement:

With Dream Noise, we hoped to incorporate different styles, genres and moods into one cohesive record. Our main goal was to give each song an atmospheric and dreamlike quality. We drew inspiration from some of our favourite bands; Joy Division, the Cure, Slowdive -- each decades old with a sound that still exists and could still pass for modern. These songs are about our dreams and our realities and how the two are constantly in conflict. Ultimately we hope to convey emotional honesty in every way it can unravel.

The album was recorded in 2018 at Candle Recording in Toronto. It was produced by Josh Korody (Dirty Nil, Weaves), and you can hear the whole thing below.

The record will be released on Friday via Kingfisher Bluez in North America and Meritorio Records in Madrid.
