The Network — a Devo-inspired new wave band whose whole deal is that they pretend they're not Green Day even though they are — have returned with a brand new EP called Trans Am.

The new release includes the songs "Trans Am," "Flat Earth," "Fentanyl" and "Ivankkka Is a Nazi." All four tracks can be streamed below. The songs preface the band's forthcoming album Money Money 2020 Part II: Told Ya So!, which is a sequel to their debut album from 2003

The members of the Network are listed as the Snoo, Fink, Z, Captain Underpants, Van Gough and Balducci. As Pitchfork points out, Mike Dirnt admitted to Rolling Stone in 2013 that the band was just Green Day.

Money Money 2020 Part II: Told Ya So! will arrive on December 4 via Warner.
