The Liptonians

"Destroy Destroy Destroy" (video)

A while back, Winnipeg's the Liptonians announced both some tour dates and a split seven-inch with their Vancouver pals the Zolas, and now the band have unveiled a new video for their contribution to the wax platter.

The video clip for their laid-back roots rocker "Destroy Destroy Destroy" demonstrates that the outfit and their collection of friends think green, as they gather old pop bottles, Tide containers and discarded mattresses to construct a makeshift raft to float along a riverbed.

As globally conscious as that may be, dude's should be a little more careful about their own well being as they're riding around sans helmets on their bikes and, yikes, riding around in the back of a pickup truck with their trove of recycled goods. Well, at least they're wearing life vests out on the water.

As previously reported, the Liptonians' trip with the Zolas kicks off tonight (October 13) at Winnipeg's Lo Pub. You can check out the rest of the dates here.
