After releasing Sinner Get Ready just over one year ago, Lingua Ignota — a.k.a. Kristin Hayter — has finally announced plans to bring the album on the road for a North American tour.
Kicking off the first of two legs in Austin, TX, on November 10, the short 12-date run will bring Hayter through parts of the South, as well as the East Coast, before touching down in Montreal on December 18. The following night (December 19) will see Hayter taking over Toronto's Trinity St. Paul's United Church on Bloor Street West, marking the end of the trek.
A press release promises that "each show will come in two parts exploring communal catharsis through traditional hymns performed with prepared piano as well as selections from her entire catalogue, with surprises strewn throughout."
