Toronto-born alt-country singer Lindi Ortega now calls Nashville her home, but she hasn't forgotten her Canadian roots. In the new year, she will be joining forces with fellow Canuck singer Dustin Bentall and his band the Smøkes for a co-heading tour of her home and native land.
The dates with Bentall are split over two separate legs. In January, the two acts will play a series of engagements in Ontario and Quebec. They will then reunite in Western Canada in February for a string of gigs across the Prairies before wrapping up on the West Coast.
In the gap between the two Canadian legs, Ortega will play a series of U.S. shows without Bentall. She also has a few American dates coming up in December. See her full schedule below.
Both Ortega and Bentall have new music to promote; the former released her album Cigarettes & Truckstops last month and just shared a new video for the title track, which you can watch below. Bentall, meanwhile, dropped the EP Orion last month as well.
