Lil Wayne to Release 'I Am Not a Human Being 2' This Year, Birdman Says

Anyone who has seen the fascinating, purple drank-soaked documentary Tha Carter knows that Lil Wayne never, ever stops recording, setting up mic booths on his tour bus and in hotel rooms all over the world. With that in mind, we're never surprised to hear he has a handful of albums in the works.

In a recent interview with Complex, Weezy's creepy father figure/Cash Money executive Birdman explained that the rapper's next album will be a sequel to 2010's pretty good I Am Not A Human Being.

"It's gonna be before the summer for sure," Birdman said. "We haven't picked the date yet. Whenever he's ready to drop his album, we're gonna make it do what it do. He's definitely got an album done and ready to go. Wayne works a lot... I know for sure we've got I Am Not a Human Being 2 ready to go. That's the next project."

Birdman went on to explain that his collaborative album with Wayne, Like Father, Like Son 2, will likely be released in the year's fourth quarter. Best of all, he explained that a planned sequel to the horrendous rap-rock record Rebirth might not happen. So it's good news all around from YMCMB.
