Lil Wayne lied to us in February, promising to release his Free Weezy album and then refusing to do so. He might be lying again, but he's set another date for the forthcoming release.
During a stop at the Heat Ultra Lounge OC in Anaheim, CA, the rapper announced that Free Weezy will arrive on July 4.
While we're certainly skeptical, he's likely in better hands now. Earlier this week, the rapper announced that he had signed on with Tidal. Jay Z's streaming service also released his recent new track "Glory."
