Vancouver's Light Organ Records has previously released a couple of Christmas compilations, and this year, the label is celebrating with a slightly more modest digital EP. Light Organ Records Presents: Sleighed came out today (November 26) via iTunes.
The short collection features contributions from Mounties, Fake Shark Real Zombie, the Fugitives, JPNSGRLS (a.k.a. Japanese Girls) and Frederick, all of whom are on the Light Organ roster. Each of the songs is an original; this includes "All I Want for Christmas," which is different from the similarly named Mariah Carey classic.
According to a tweet from the label, "This isn't your typical winter fare!"
