LIDS is the latest amalgamation of Canadian indie rock royalty, combining members of Constantines, Holy Fuck and METZ into one neat and noisy unit.
Holy Fuck's Brian Borcherdt, METZ's Alex Edkins and Constantines' Doug MacGregor made their debut with the synthy psychedelic single "Sarsfest," but have already followed it up by sharing new cut "Blank Flag."
"Blank Flag" will serve as the B-side to "Sarsfest," when the single is released as a 7-inch on March 17 via Telephone Explosion. Infused with tribal-sounding beats, distorted guitars and hazy vocals, the six-minute tune shows off the trio's more experimental side.
