Liars Unveil Proud Evolution EP with Thom Yorke Remix

BY Alex HudsonPublished Aug 26, 2010

Experimental art punks Liars released their latest LP, Sisterworld, back in March. Now, the group are getting set to release an EP that features the single "Proud Evolution," plus a handful of extra tracks. The six-song offering, which includes a remix from Thom Yorke, is due out October 19 via Mute.

The Thom Yorke remix isn't actually new, as his take on "Proud Evolution" was first released on the Sisterworld bonus disc earlier this year. The EP also includes a live version of the same song, recorded live in Williamsburg.

The EP contains three B-sides, which were previously available on a bonus disc that was exclusive to Rough Trade. If you didn't order your copy of Sisterworld from Rough Trade, this is your chance to get your hands on those B-sides.

Liars' MySpace currently lists five tour dates, four of which are in Canada. As previously reported, these shows will be with Calgary's Women. See the schedule below the tracklist.

1. "Proud Evolution (Album Version)"
2. "Proud Evolution (Thom Yorke remix)"
