Liars Plot New Album for March 2014, Share Teaser Clips

A little more than a year ago, ever-changing rock explorers Liars released WIXIW, and now they're making headway with the follow-up. The new album is due out next year, and the band have shared some teaser videos ahead of time.

According to a (now evidently deleted) update by their label, Mute, the trio are currently finishing work on the LP at their Los Angeles studio. The album marks yet another stylistic change, since they've apparently stopped experimenting with the new methods that they employed on WIXIW.

Frontman Angus Andrew said in a statement, "Instead of being doubtful, work on the new album has been immediate, fun, instinctual and confident." The album is slated to arrive in March 2014.

Below, watch three extremely short teasers, which each clock in at half a minute or less, and include some blippy electronic clips, along with visuals that show brightly coloured strands of wool. The band's Facebook page has been updates with similarly colourful, woolly images.
