Liars may have launched their latest LP WIXIW a couple of months back, but the prolific experimental outfit have offered up yet another new tune for Adult Swim's current summer singles series. This one's called "Point Your Pistols to the Sigh."
The cut captures the group in full-on dance mode, with oscillated electronic whirrs and choppy vocal samples smashing into a driving Euro-disco pulse. It's not exactly as gleeful as a Very-era Pet Shop Boys remix, though, with Angus Andrew's vocals mumbling eerily atop the whole thing and a selection of uncomfortable synths slowly ushering themselves in before the song comes to an abrupt halt.
