Liam Gallagher Tells Oasis Fans Not to Buy 'Definitely Maybe' Reissue

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 2, 2014

Are you excited about the upcoming 20th anniversary reissue of Oasis' debut album, Definitely Maybe? You shouldn't be, at least not according to singer Liam Gallagher, who took to Twitter to express scorn for the expanded, remastered package.

On Friday (February 28), the vocalist tweeted, "HOW CAN YOU REMASTER SOMETHING THATS ALREADY BEING MASTERED.DONT BUY INTO IT.LET IT BE LG X"

Regardless of whether Gallagher believes the album needs remastering, fans will likely still be excited about the heaping of extras included in the set. Considering that the band have broken up and the Gallagher brothers have been reportedly waging a legal battle against one another, we're not likely to see any releases from the defunct Brit-pop band other than this.

Read up on the details of the reissue here. It's due out on May 20 via Big Brother Recordings.
