Liam Gallagher Reveals His New Hobby of Chasing Squirrels

Never one to keep his mouth shut for long, Liam Gallagher is once again drumming up some publicity for his new solo album. This time, he's joined Zane Lowe on Apple's Beats 1, and while the interview is obviously bursting with choice quotes, perhaps the best one concerns Liam's new hobby — chasing squirrels.

While speaking with Lowe today (July 25), Liam was quizzed on what he's been doing while not making music. Proving he's one of the most quotable dudes on the planet, Liam dropped this bit of gold upon us:

Moan. Kick things. Spit at things — all sorts of stuff. Swear a lot. Kicking like a fence or an iron gate or something. I drink a lot and eat and stuff, and then I go for a run and chase squirrels. The last four years have been hell.

Unfortunately, Liam didn't go into further detail on his new squirrel-chasing hobby, but he did (as usual) lay into his rival/sibling Noel Gallagher in the interview, saying his older brother has been doing Oasis songs "like Dolly Parton."

"I've got the relationship back with my kids and stuff, and all is good in the world, but I'm ready to get back on stage and do some screaming and shouting," Liam said [via NME] before referring to Noel. "If you want to come and hear Oasis songs done properly come to my gigs. Our kid's doing them like Dolly Parton."

Of course those barbs come after Liam recently stated he would rather "eat my own shit" than listen to his brother's High Flying Birds play with U2.

Liam's debut solo album As You Were is due out on October 6 via Warner Bros. Records.
