The trek will hit Toronto and feature Richard Ashcroft

No, Liam Gallagher isn't throwing any notion of a brotherly truce out the window and making matters worse by dragging Noel's wife into things — today, the rocker is keeping things clean with the announcement of a North American tour.

The Oasis co-founder will take solo disc As You Were on the road for a total of eight dates on the continent, six of which will feature the Verve's Richard Ashcroft as support. The tour's itinerary includes a lone Canadian date at Toronto's Sony Centre on May 13.

The tour announcement comes after Gallagher was forced to cut his appearance at Lollapalooza Santiago short last night (March 18). As his team explained in a statement on social media, the songwriter had been performing through a sinus, ear and nose infection he had caught after a show in Europe. His ailments resulted in a chest infection, leaving it hard to breathe while performing.

"Liam is severely disappointed and upset that he couldn't finish the show and wants to apologise to everyone who came out to see him tonight," the statement read. "He promises to reschedule a gig in Santiago as soon as possible."
