As previously reported, Levitation Vancouver ran into trouble during its 2016 edition, with the festival being forced to move from Stanley Park's spacious outdoors venue the Malkin Bowl to the Commodore Ballroom. The reason for the move was stated to be "unforeseen circumstances" at the time.
In its two years, Levitation Vancouver played to host to such acts as Flying Lotus, Thee Oh Sees, Thundercat, Dead Moon, Black Mountain and many more.
