Let's Wrestle

"We Are the Men Who You'll Grow to Love Soon"

TRACK OF THE DAY: Oh those Brits, always stealing from North America, then selling it back, albeit with a quintessential English twist. Case in point, Let's Wrestle, a trio of lads from London who take '60s American R&B riffs and "ba-ba-ba" vocal fills and infuse them with lyrics of personal betterment like, "We're going down the job centre/We'll come out with a job" and "We are the most reliable guys in the world/We've got enough money to buy G&Ts for the girls."

Stateside, the group are pretty unknown, but according to one press release, they're already rock stars over in the UK, where they've developed a reputation for frivolous law suits against celebrities (suing Seal and Heidi Klum for custody of their kids). They band recently signed to Merge Records, who will release their debut, In the Court of the Wrestling Let's. They've also got a nice video for this tune.
