'The Blackest Beautiful' (album stream)

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Jun 18, 2013

There are still a few weeks to go before Los Angeles post-hardcore pounders letlive. drop their next set, The Blackest Beautiful, but Epitaph is letting the world in on the 11 "politically, socially and personally conscious songs" a little early by delivering a full-album stream.

On top of previously premiered album opener "Banshee (Ghost Frame)," you can get a sneak peek of the classic At the Drive-In-inspired prog-waltz "Virgin Dirt," "Empty Elvis," which offers and loud-quiet-loud blend of punky riffs and Egyptian cotton-soft emo choruses, and more.

You can stream the album on YouTube here.

As previously reported, The Blackest Beautiful was produced by the band, with the assistance of Kit Walters and was mixed by Stephen George (Mary J. Blige, Michael Jackson), weaving together influences like Rage Against the Machine and Deftones together with elements like jazz and R&B.

Letlive. take part in this summer's Vans Warped Tour and hit Toronto's Molson Amphitheatre on July 5. You can see the rest of the dates over here.
