Letherette's latest release, dropped on their expanding Wulf imprint, is EP 4, the followup to the succinctly titled EP 3. Whereas prior releases have been twilight-tinged, this latest work is sun-kissed and disco-saturated, hinging on a classic house vibe that creeps in and holds steady.

As in previous work, Letherette's latest plays heavily with stretched and chopped samples, sticking with the lush upbeat swing that characterizes the EP. While each track starts off with a predictable, pounding 4/4 signature, their respective personalities quickly distinguish themselves. "Feel It" rides along a loose piano line and a constant swish of hi-hat, as gorgeous soul vocals float above, while "Side Fade" summarizes the feeling of EP nicely, with its balmy piano line falling in and out of fade like the immersive house of the early aughts.

The star track of EP 4 is the one that closes it out though; "Give My Love" plucks at an urgency that slowly builds to a bass-heavy, lush house throwdown, making you wish the track kept on far beyond its runtime.
