Les Angles Morts "Hangten"

The true essence of Montreal’s Les Angles Morts cannot be captured listening to an MP3 — you need to experience it at one of their gigs. With a penchant for both film and music, the quartet performs in sequence with various types of footage (3D anaglyph video, found footage, travelogues). While the stress is on the combination, their music is strong enough on its own. You can get a sense of what accompanies their visuals with "Hangten," a roving piece of art-rock that descends into a flurry of frenetic noise. A DVD/CD combining both of their media should be released in the near future. (www.simons-rock.edu/~breed/anglesmore/Hangten.mp3)
