There's a very good chance that this year will belong to Fort Worth, Texas soul sensation Leon Bridges, whose early singles have us anticipating his Coming Home LP and whose live show is blowing minds. Before we get more new music from the impossibly smooth R&B singer and guitarist, he's revisited "Better Man" and treated it to a video.
In keeping with his standard aesthetic, the black and white video looks like it's from another era as Bridges and his backing band perform on a nondescript stage. Everything fits the era Bridges is going for, down to the use of vintage microphones. At times, it borders on 1950s cosplay, but with songs this smooth it's hard to complain.
