It may have taken him a couple of years to get it out, but Montreal folkster Leif Vollebekk finally released his North Americana LP this year. He'll now support his set, which we said highlighted Vollebekk's "strong songwriting skills and bone-chilling voice," with a batch of North American tour dates.
The tour kicks off with a headlining show next week at Wakefield, QC's Black Sheep Inn, but the tour schedule has him bouncing across the U.S./Canada border. While Vollebekk will take top billing for a number of performances, he'll also act as support on select dates with Patrick Watson and Born Ruffians. You can check all the details down below.
If you haven't yet picked up North Americana, Vollebekk posted a spacious, piano-driven cover of the Killers' "Read My Mind," which appears on the deluxe edition of the set. You can stream it beneath those dates.
