Leftfield Return with First New Album in 16 Years

Leftfield Return with First New Album in 16 Years
It's been 16 years since '90s electronica act Leftfield released an album, but that will finally change on June 8 with the arrival of Alternative Light Source through Infectious Music.

This the band's first album since 1999's Rhythm and Stealth. Back then, Leftfield were a duo, but Paul Daley isn't taking part in the reunion, meaning that this is the work of remaining member Neil Barnes.

Alternative Light Source is available to pre-order on CD or double vinyl from Leftfield's online store. The front cover features artist Mark Wallinger's 1990 piece School - Classroom.

For a taste of the new album, scroll past the tracklist below to hear the thumping electro banger "Universal Everything." Also below, see Leftfield's upcoming tour schedule; all of the scheduled shows are in the UK.
