Even before moving to Los Angeles, LeBron James has shown his power and influence when it comes to the music world. He heard Kendrick Lamar's DAMN. before you did, and is largely responsible for the release of the rapper's untitled.unmastered.

Despite having such sway, James and his Los Angeles Lakers teammates recently chose to practice to Eminem's music yesterday (September 26) ahead of the NBA season kicking off.

When asked by a reporter about the music selection, James replied, "Today's White Boy Wednesday. Seriously. You're laughing, but today's White Boy Wednesday. It's the only white boy music day, which I enjoy. I love Eminem. But it was more than just Eminem. We had a lot of good music today."

As some have pointed out online, the playlist angle was also used by the Golden State Warriors back in 2015. That year, they won their first championship title in 40 years.

Eminem's recent Kamikaze LP certainly has some people fired up, though others such as Machine Gun KellyJustin Vernon, Die Antwoord and the Beastie Boys don't feel the same way.

Em recently let his critics know how he felt about their reaction with a full-page magazine ad
