Le Couleur

"Starlite"

Montreal synth-pop unit Le Couleur are ready to unveil their latest single "Starlite," and Exclaim! is giving you an exclusive first listen.

The disco-inflused, dancefloor-ready cut was produced by the band's own Steeven Chouinard, and it serves as a high-energy introduction to the group's impending album P.o.p. Blending lovestruck lyrics with dreamy instrumental grooves, Le Couleur's sound is refreshingly retro and instantly inviting.

The band describe the new track as '90s house music infused with the rhythms of a Sade song. "That's what we had in mind when this piano riff came out," the band explained in a statement. "A sexy, minimalist mood."

P.o.p. is due out on October 28 through Lisbon Lux Records, marking the follow-up to last year's Dolce Désir EP. Get a preview of things to come by giving "Starlite" a spin below.
