Laura Sauvage

"Nothing to Something & Vice Versa" / "No Direction Home" on Exclaim! TV

BY Paula ReidPublished Apr 26, 2016

Though she's a crucial part of folk trio Les Hey Babies, New Brunswick native Vivianne Roy pursues her solo impulses under the guise of Laura Sauvage. On our latest Exclaim! TV episode, Sauvage showcases the personal lyrics and classic indie rock style found on her debut full-length, Extraordinormal.

Our first clip finds Sauvage sitting comfortably behind her guitar at the Done Right Inn, where she shared "Nothing to Something & Vice Versa." Her smooth, controlled vocals carry the tune before she kicks the catchy riff up a notch to finish the song on a high note. Next is sombre track "No Direction Home," on which she powerfully repeats the confession, "I don't play with cards I just play with aces / If they don't deal right I won't remember faces."

The rest of the month, Sauvage will be hitting the stage across Canada; see for yourself why you should make it out to a show below.
