UK-born, Americana-tinged singer-songwriter Laura Marling recently announced plans for her upcoming LP Short Movie and shared a video for the title track. Now, she's dishing out another taste of the new album with "False Hope."
A far cry from the acoustic folk ballads we all know she can do so well, Marling amps things up a bit on this one. Electric guitars meld with her anxiety-soaked vocals, and are pushed along by a chugging drumbeat.
