After the tragic passing of famed internet cat Lil BUB, the world has not been the same. Thanks to her "dude" Mike Bridavsky, we're getting another chance to remember his amazing feline friend with a new book titled Lil BUB: The Earth Years, which is set to arrive on April 23 through Melodic Virtue.

The book will feature an intro from cat guru Jackson Galaxy and a foreword by Steve Albini, as well as quotes from some of BUB's celebrity pals including Whoopi Goldberg, Jack Black, Run the JewelsEl-P, Andrew W.K., Thurston Moore, Kimya Dawson, David Yow, Aesop Rock and more.

In addition to the book's 376 pages filled with "beautiful photos, news clippings and artwork and a complete and detailed chronological biographical commentary about her extraordinary life from discovery to departure," the deluxe edition will also feature an 80-page picture book titled Transmissions from Earth: Original Art Inspired by Lil BUB.

The package will also come with an accompanying 7-inch picture disc, featuring two new pieces "composed by Lil BUB herself, from her intergalactic afterlife."

BUB sadly departed her earthly vessel back in December 2019 at 8 years old. For the uninitiated, BUB was a polydactyl and toothless special-needs feline characterized by her extremely photogenic qualities.

Popular among celebrities, BUB also had hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide. She was the face of a number of charitable causes, helping to raise over $700,000 USD for homeless animals in her short lifetime.

In 2015, she also released her debut album Science and Magic: A Soundtrack to the Universe and collaborated with a number of A-lister musicians.
