Last Gang Records Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary with Toronto Party Featuring MSTRKRFT, Purity Ring, Crystal Castles' Ethan Kath
In the 10 years since music lawyer Chris Taylor started Last Gang Records, the company has released a heap of successful albums from artists like Metric, MSTRKRFT, Crystal Castles, Mother Mother and more. On May 22, the label will be rightly celebrating its 10 year anniversary with a Toronto party at the Guvernment.

The night will feature DJs sets from a heap of artists including MSTRKRFT, Ethan Kath (of Crystal Castles), Purity Ring, Huoratron, Electric Youth, Bear Mountain, Rush Midnight, Tre Mission, Kay, Leisure Cruise, Dubmatix, Young Guv and Bizzarh. More guests will also be announced.

Taylor said in a statement, "We haven't always trumpeted our achievements that loudly. Historically, we've let our bands' music do the talking, but on May 22 we are going make a bit of noise."

Tickets cost $25 and will go on sale this Friday (March 28) through Ticketmaster.

Last Gang's first-ever release was Metric's Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? Since then, it has sold more than two million records. In addition to signing a pile of notable acts, they've licensed albums by the likes of Chromeo, Boys Noize, the New Pornographers, Tiga, Huoratron, Electric Youth, Bear Mountain, Ryan Hemsworth and more.

Later in 2014, Last Gang will release LPs from Death From Above 1979, Chromeo and the New Pornographers.
