It's been two decades since the first and only album by Liverpool band the La's was released, so you can stop waiting for that sophomore disc. However, that doesn't mean the band can't put together yet another compilation or, say, box set.
On May 10 in the UK, the reunited-for-now duo are releasing the four-disc box set Callin' All, which is set to feature previously unheard music by the group. As Gigwise reports, the first disc will include all their singles, including beyond-huge smash "There She Goes" and an unreleased version of fellow single "Timeless Melody."
Disc two will include the best of the group's many outtakes from their time in the studio, while discs three and four will be recorded live shows at London's Town and Country Club in 1989 and the Marquee in 1991, respectively.
The set will be presented in a hardcover box complete with a 60-page book featuring never-before-seen photos of the band and artwork by the band's original designer, Simon Ryan.
