Lana Del Rey Shares Studio Versions of "Looking for America" and "Season of the Witch"

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Aug 9, 2019

Lana Del Rey will release her new album Norman Fucking Rockwell! at the end of the month, but before it arrives, she's shared two songs that don't appear on the LP.

The first is a recorded version of "Looking for America," which she previewed earlier this week. She revealed that the song was written in the wake of two mass shootings in Dayton, OH, and El Paso, TX, last weekend.

The second is a cover of Donovan's "Season of the Witch." Del Rey's version was recorded for the Guillermo del Toro-produced film Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.

Listen to the full versions of both new songs below.

Norman Fucking Rockwell! is due out August 30 via Polydor.
