Published Jul 25, 2012Earlier this year, divisive songstress Lana Del Rey released her long-awaited debut album Born to Die. Whether you fall into the love or hate camp, there's no denying that she left a significant mark, which is why there are undoubtedly some of you who can't wait for more from the artist.
While she's not exactly announcing a sophomore relese, the singer recently stopped by Australian radio station Nova, where she dropped news that she's planning on issuing a deluxe version of the breakthrough album later this year. She's calling it the "Paradise" edition and promising a whole bunch of new material.
Here's the statement she made on air:
It's not a new album, it's more like an afterthought, it's the "Paradise" edition of Born to Die. It's like seven new songs that kind of put a period on the statement that I was making when I was making the record…it's beautiful.
While it's unclear exactly when the "Paradise" edition of Born to Die will drop, fans can hopefully expect at least seven unheard cuts this November.
