Lana Del Rey

"Ultraviolence" (video)

Lana Del Rey is all dressed up for her big day and off to the chapel, or at least that's the scene the singer is trying to convey in the wedding-styled new video behind the title track to her Ultraviolence LP.

Taking on the Super 8 quality of a vintage home movie, the clip streams sun-faded and grainy footage of a veil-sporting and bouquet-holding Del Rey manoeuvring through a field, with the path eventually leading her inside an old chapel.

While the moody tune's mix of lonely piano chords, weeping strings and a smattering of wah-wah guitar has the singer crying golden tears as she waxes poetic about her lover/cult leader, there's no one to greet her once she makes her way into the building.

You'll witness Del Rey's dedication to "Ultraviolence" down below.
