Published Apr 03, 2014With no official announcement just yet, it's still a rumour that Lana Del Rey's Dan Auerbach-produced sophomore album Ultraviolence is going to drop on May 1. Regardless, an outtake has just hit the web.
Called "Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight," the pop song is much more uptempo than much of Del Rey's navelgazing mope anthems. Built on sweeping strings, pulsing percussion and the singer's inimitable vocals, it's also characteristically cinematic — it'd be right at home on a vintage spy movie soundtrack.
