Lana Del Rey

"Blue Velvet" (video)

You may have noticed the front page of Exclaim! is currently framed with ads for polarizing pop figure Lana Del Rey's new H&M clothing line. The singer has prepped more than some photo shoots for the cross-promotion, though, and has now unveiled a video for a cover of '50s pop standard "Blue Velvet."

The vid for Del Rey's icy take on the tune has her lip-synching for a small crowd of dapper dudes and dolls (all decked out in H&M finery, naturally) who either stare right back or slow-dance in front of her. Considering her outfit, we figure the song could have easily been redubbed "Pink Angora," but we digress.

Other vignettes from the short film find Del Rey hanging out with a creepy hypnotist and a bedside sailor playing a game of She Loves Me.
