Lagwagon's Joey Cape and No Use for a Name's Tony Sly Announce Canadian Tour Dates

BY Greg PrattPublished Mar 31, 2010

Joey Cape, best known as being Lagwagon's vocalist when that long-running punk band is in on-again mode, and Tony Sly, vocalist/guitarist of No Use for a Name, will be taking their solo shows on the road together this spring, and will make some stops in Canada.

The shows, which also find the two playing Australia and New Zealand, aren't the first time the label-mates have worked together - the two recently released a split seven-inch together on Fat Wreck Chords, longtime label to both of their bands, and they previously released a full-length split CD together, also on Fat.

Cape is also touring in support of Doesn't Play Well with Others, his new solo album, which he's releasing as a song-per-month download this year. He gave us the lowdown about the album back in January.
