Lady Gaga Becomes First Music Act to Hit One Billion Online Video Views
What with the mega-viral craziness that was her "Telephone" video, this shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, but it's still quite a statistic: Lady Gaga has become the first music artist to surpass a collective one billion online video views.

Visible Measures, an Internet video stat tracker, announced yesterday (March 24) that the performer's first three music videos from 2008's The Fame have together amassed a record one billion views. That's right - without the help of "Telephone."

As Mashable points out, the videos for "Poker Face," "Just Dance" and "Bad Romance" have long sat on the list of Internet videos with one hundred million views or more, but they've now combined to make Gaga the first to hit the billion-view milestone. Following her into the billion club are the (ugh) Twilight Saga (980 million views) and (blech) Soulja Boy (860 million views).
