Published Jan 03, 2011Love her or hate her, there's no denying the cultural impact Lady Gaga has had in recent years. That's why we better make note that Gaga has revealed the release date for her upcoming album. The record, which we found especially interesting when we thought David Bowie was involved, is called Born This Way, and follows Gaga's massively successful 2009 release, The Fame Monster.
The controversy-loving pop monster announced the release of Born This Way with a twitpic of her rocking nothing more than a Born This Way jean jacket and the caption "THE SONG 2 13 11 THE RECORD 5 23 11." Release date enthusiasts will note that May 23 is likely the UK release date, as it's a Monday. Similarly, February 13 is an unlikely release date, as it's a Sunday. It's also the night of the Grammys, however, leading to speculation that Gaga will perform on the show.
The ass-adorned Twitpic can be seen above and over here. Just don't show Edmonton Mayor Stephen Mandel.
