We haven't heard a whole lot from La Roux in a few years, but that will change in 2014, since the British synth-pop pair will be touring North America in the spring and summer in support of a as-yet-unannounced new album.
The tour is split across two short legs, first in early June and then in July. The first trip centres around the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York and includes stops in Toronto and Montreal on June 1 and 2, respectively. The second trip finds them playing a couple of California shows with New Order.

As for the new album, singer Elly Jackson has confirmed its existence on Twitter, writing, "I'm really excited for people to hear it."
This will be their first proper album since 2009's self-titled debut.
